I first met Ceily when I was judging an American Bulldog Association show in Sacramento, California.  It was the Junior Adult Female class and there were 17 outstanding bitches in the ring.....including the Best Female in Show from the previous day's events.  I was dazzled by these "California Girls" and had a tough time picking and choosing.  I  finally narrowed down the class and dismissed 10 bitches from the ring.  When I realized that Ceily's owner had missed his cue to remain in the ring, I held up the class so the ring steward could fetch her back!!  Ceily won the third place spot in that class, a terrific victory considering the caliber of the bitches she competed against (and yes, she did beat that BFIS from the day before)!!  Several months passed and I heard that Ceily was for sale.  I immediately made arrangements to buy this beautiful, sweet tempered bitch!  Since Ceily has been with me, I have shown her several times.  Her first time out, she took Best Female in Show at the ABNA Classic held in Virginia last May.  She went onto compete at two NKC shows and placed in both!!  I expect Ceily to earn both ABNA and NKC Championships.  Ceily is a delightful, playful, people-loving bitch.  She is full of energy and is excelling in her obedience work.  Our goal for Ceily is to earn her Therapy Dog International title and become a partner with our daughter in therapy work.  She has the type of personality that will surely heal....she just draws you in and MAKES you love her!!!!!!

***Due to Ceily's difficult experiences with breeding, and despite the fact that her puppies are amazing, we have decided no longer to breed Cecelia.  She is lucky now to be living with her new family, the Derringers, in Defiance, Ohio.   She is now a spoiled "only dog" and sleeps in the bed with her new mom, Karen, every night.  It was hard for us to give up this amazing and loving girl, but more than anything, we care about our dogs and want them to be healthy and happy.
