Topline's Victory

just in from Ohio! Topline's Victory (a Toro x Sha-Nuk daughter bred
to a Ceily x Rebel son) saved a woman today!
Sidenote:
When Karen found out about the breed specific legislation that is being
campaigned for in her home state of Ohio, she was horrified!! "Please,
please" she begged, "Don't let anyone hurt Tory! I wouldn't be here
if it weren't for her! She saved my life!"

Despite
Paul's corrections to stay on track, Tory managed to pull him off course
by 40 yards!! Tory did not stop until she came upon a canal lock
where she circled and paced until poppa Paul caught up to her! There
they found, deep down inside the canal lock, a severely hearing impaired
and mentally challenged woman, Karen Mansfield, crying softly and pacing
to and fro in the water. She looked up and saw Tory and Paul...."Can
you help me?" she cried! She was too far down for Paul to reach,
so he called for the police who contacted the fire department! Finally,
Karen was freed! The woman had been on her way to work as a dishwasher
in a local restaurant, Kissners, and somehow found herself in the canal
lock! 
She
was in there for several hours and was tired, cold and scared. Who
knows what would have become of poor Karen if she hadn't been found before
nightfall! She sure was relieved to see that beautiful bulldog puppy
who risked her beloved dad's displeasure to save her! Way to
go my precious Tory!!!!
